USCF Membership
An up-to-date USCF membership is a requirement for all participants. Costs are $20/year for children, or $45/year for adults. Membership can be bought/renewed at the link below.
MCA Membership
An up-to-date Michigan Chess Association (MCA) membership is also required. Costs are just $10/year. The MCA helps organize and spread the word about chess events in the state of Michigan.
First tournament?
No problem! Linked below is a great article that explains a few of the rules you'll be expected to follow, including 1) Touch move 2) Notation 3) Chess Clocks, etc. Notation sheets, writing utensils, and a limited number of chess clocks will all be provided.
Pre-Registration List
